SadoArrábida is a recent brand created by the tourist entertainment company “A Cabana do Pai do Tomas,” founded in 1999.
Our staff has more than 20 years of experience in nature tourism of Portugal. At the beginning of the 1990s we were pioneers in introducing innovative activities of this model of tourism to our country, leading– among others– off-road tours in the protected areas of the PNA (Nature Park of Arrábida) and RNES (Natural Reserve of the Estuário of Sado).
Nowadays, taking an advantage of our cumulative experience, the scope of our work has broadened, promoting all kinds of events in the fields of entertainment, environmental, cultural and maritime tourism, while always following the best and most in-demand trends.
Imaginative programs or purely for leisure – these are available to the full satisfaction of those who request us.
Customizing our activities and events has been very successful as well.
Our area of activity favors the field in which we work, and we are professionals (Sado/Arrábida: Setúbal, Troia, Comporta and surroundings. From Cabo Espichel to Sines, from Sesimbra to Grândola, passing through Palmela and Alcácer do Sal. Lisbon to the countryside of the Alentejo). We also go to other parts of Portugal with select programs.
* In Troia since 2000, we opened the Marina on August 1, 2008, with the vessel “Insubmersível-Tróia” (1st vessel resident in the marina).

* In the summer of 2010, we opened our first space in Troia – “Quiosque SadoArrábida” (Marina de Tróia).
* A new minibus, became part of our fleet in May 2012.
* In the summer of 2012, we acquired our new vessel “Mil Andanças”.
* In 2013, second open space in Troia, this time a store in Troiashopping.
* In 2015 an iconic UMM from the year 2 000 (special series), with 9 seats, became part of our fleet.
* In 2016 we gave a “restyling” to the “Insubmersible”, which started to have new skills and new capacity.
* In 2016, we also started our new circuits in Side Car, with the URAL 2WD motorcycle.
* In 2016 our VW KOMBI / Pão_de_forma_971 arrived
* In 2017 we acquired a 2 CV. “2CV is not a car, it is a philosophy of life”
* In 2017 there is a change of facilities to a new space in Troiashopping.
* In 2018 we opened a new space in the historic center of Setúbal, next to Bocage square.
* 2019 was the year of consolidation of all our programs, both BY SEA and BY LAND.
